type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; side_padding=&#8221;0&#8243; padding_top=&#8221;auto&#8221; padding_bottom=&#8221;auto&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Laboratorio de Geodin\u00e1mica Computacional representa el primer laboratorio de este tipo en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sus principales actividades est\u00e1n relacionadas con la aplicaci\u00f3n de los modelos num\u00e9ricos en 3 y 4D para la zona de subducci\u00f3n mexicana y paleo-reconstrucci\u00f3n de placas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una de las aportaciones m\u00e1s importantes que ha tenido el Laboratorio consta de la construcci\u00f3n del primer cluster de computadoras High Performance Computing Cluster &#8211; HPCC, HORUS &#8211; dedicado al modelado num\u00e9rico en el campo de la geodin\u00e1mica, el riesgo volc\u00e1nico, etc. en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;1730&#8243; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una de las aportaciones m\u00e1s importantes que ha tenido el Laboratorio es la construcci\u00f3n del primer cl\u00faster de computadoras en M\u00e9xico (High Performance Computing Cluster, HPCC) HORUS dedicado al modelado num\u00e9rico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otro logro importante del Laboratorio ha sido la instalaci\u00f3n del <span class=\"st\"><em>Laboratorio<\/em> Nacional de <em>Visualizaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica Avanzada<\/em><\/span>, el cual cuenta con un sistema GeoMatrix, basado en el sistema GeoWall, que permite visualizar modelos num\u00e9ricos realizados en la supercomputadora HORUS y adem\u00e1s puede ser empleado como una herramienta innovadora para la impartici\u00f3n de cursos tales como Geodin\u00e1mica, Tect\u00f3nica de Placas, Geolog\u00eda Regional, Vulcanolog\u00eda, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2359&#8243;
